Repositories

Repositories in Hibou represent monitored source code repositories from your connected forges.

Hibou operates in a “plug and play” mode — repositories are discovered automatically from your forge organizations. There is no need to manually create repositories.

When you link an organization to a forge, Hibou can:

  1. List all repositories from that forge organization
  2. Register webhooks for push and pull request events
  3. Begin monitoring for security vulnerabilities

Each repository tracks:

  • Last scan date — When the most recent security scan was performed
  • Finding count — Number of open security findings
  • Webhook status — Whether webhooks are active
Terminal window
# List repositories in an organization
curl http://localhost:8585/api/v1/orgs/{org_id}/repos \
-H "Authorization: Bearer <token>"
# Get a specific repository
curl http://localhost:8585/api/v1/repos/{repo_id} \
-H "Authorization: Bearer <token>"

Each repository maintains its own set of security findings from scans. Findings include:

  • Vulnerability ID (CVE)
  • Severity (critical, high, medium, low)
  • Affected package and version
  • Fixed version (if available)
  • Scan source (SBOM, SARIF, Trivy)
